About Us

Inspired in part by the work of the Fairfax County-based Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions, Walter Weiss of River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation and others have convened MC-FACS to coordinate strong faith support and a moral voice for environmental policy and action in Montgomery County. Working together with Interfaith Power & Light, MC-FACS will help connect Montgomery County congregations to opportunities to undertake climate education, greening, and state or national climate advocacy.
